Refer Merchants for the Anansi Insurance

- UK registered operations of global Merchants
Context
This guide is designed to help a Partner Company refer and register Merchants to the Anansi goods-in-transit insurance directly from their system.
Important
Please note that we currently only support UK-based Merchants and UK registered operations of global Merchants shipping to the UK/EU. Full list of countries to come in the next API release.
Step 1 - Get and Share Reference Registration URL
The Reference Registration URL is a link to our registration page with a code associated which will allow us to identify the Partner Company - https://app.withanansi.com/#/signupemail/?code=<partner_code>.
The Partner Company should refer the Merchants to Anansi insurance by providing them with the Reference Registration URL. From there, the Merchant will be directed to Anansi platform to complete onboarding and sign up for insurance.
If you don’t have a Reference Registration URL or would like to request it again, please contact api@withanansi.com.
Step 2 - Receive the Merchant's Anansi ID
After the registration of a Merchant is complete, a Merchant is referred to as a Policyholder. We will provide them with an Anansi ID, which should be sent to and saved by the Partner Company - this will be the policyholder_id.
The policyholder_id should be used in all relevant API calls to identify the Policyholder.
